Dream blog 101 and hybrids

March 8, 2006

Hi there. Just thought I'd get in on the action and blah, blah, blah about nothing important except my life. It's just one life on this huge planet and the huge pool of bloggers. But why not? This will be my on-line diary all cleaned up in case my boss reads it. Or my husband. Or my mother-in-law.Embarassed

I think I'll start with dreams. I write my dreams down and try to figure them out. It keeps me honest with myself. I don't think you can lie to yourself in dreams. Only when you wake up.

This week, I dreamed about an infant foot walking. Just the tiny foot - without the body- wearing a white sandal. I followed it through the woods.

When I woke up, I was quite disturbed as you can imagine. What the &^&* does that mean?

Well, I have books on dreams. I sat down with my first cup of coffee and looked up the symbolism of it. It was a relief to find out what it meant.

Baby=immaturity - okay so I'm immature- what else is new?

Foot=see feet symbols - BUT IT WAS JUST ONE FOOT NOT FEET. Oh well.

Feet=Indicates how one travels his or her path. Check conditions.

Sandal=Relates to the desire to walk closer to the earth, yet the goal hasn't quite been attained yet.

I have been looking at the new hybrid Green Vue Saturn. But it doesn't come out until August. Maybe that's what this is all about? And I pouted because I can't afford it right NOW. Yes that's immature.

White= applies to purity and goodness; the positive aspects of life. mmmm?

Oh well, it wasn't that interesting but I WAS LESS troubled by my dream. Sometimes it works the other way around.

Have you seen the new Saturn Green Vue hybrid car? Are you thinking of getting a hybrid?

Greetings dreamweavers-

OOO OOO I belive you can help me through the night :-)

Just thought I'd tell the tale for those who may have not heard it.

Also a dream...

I had arrived late for a Tori Amos concert at a hall that was small, yet had a balcony. I had given my ticket to an usher who handed it back to me, pointed upwards and said "good luck".

I started going up the isle toward my row and the climb was incredibly steep- almost like climbing a ladder. I arrived at the correct row and gasped as I was going to have to cross over about 20 people to get to my seat.

Polite until the end, I said excuse me about 15 times and feeling rather weak in the knees began crawling across the last few patrons.

Someone called out, "They're going to start jumping!" I turned just in time to see a young woman do a swan dive off the balcony and splatt on the stage beside Tori.

This is the point where I woke up. And....

The whole time the dream was going on, this is what Tori was singing...

You know that I'm someone who believes in gravity, gravity, gravity.
For if you are someone who believes in gravity,
Gravity's the reason you can fly.
Gravity's the one that gets me high.

True story, no lie.

I'm outta here, peace.
